Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery says a preliminary report from the State Medical Examiner’s Office indicates Lakeview resident Rita Kabella died from natural causes. The 76-year-old was found dead Sunday evening at her residence on Hickory Flats Road.Sheriff’s dispatch received a report after seven p.m. of a woman bleeding inside the residence after she had fallen. Kabella was found to be deceased by the time emergency personnel arrived. The cause of the death was not immediately apparent.
