Two men were given prison time during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

50-year-old Terry Stacy, who is currently an inmate in the North Central Unit of the state prison system at Calico Rock on an earlier conviction, was given four additional years after pleading guilty to drug-related charges stemming from a traffic stop in the Salesville area in early June.

Cory Weaver of Gassville was given three years in prison after pleading guilty to charges that he had violated the terms and conditions of his probation from an earlier conviction.

A petition to revoke his probation was filed in March after he picked up new drug charges in Marion County in late February.

Judge Gordon Webb allowed the 29-year-old Weaver to remain free until August 9th when his new Marion County case should be completed. It is expected that his Marion County sentence will run concurrently with the sentence given to him in Baxter County.
