The Humane Society of North Central Arkansas is inviting the public to learn about a life-saving impact to animals in the Twin Lakes Area. The Humane Society will hold a special event to recruit foster families Saturday from ten to two at Petco in Mountain Home.
According to the Humane Society, the summer months are normally a busy time for animal welfare organizations. There is often an increase in animal intake and demand for services, and many animals are in need of a place to stay while they await a new home.
