State-level award recognition of teachers in Mountain Home Public Schools continues, with High School Counselor Heather Hatman being the latest recipient.
During the Arkansas School Counselor Association’s summer conference July 19-21, Hatman was recognized by the Arkansas Army National Guard with one of four Counselor of the Year awards.
National Guard Staff Sergeant Garrett Cude of Mountain Home nominated Hatman for the recognition and says two awards are made in the western region of the state and two in the eastern region.
Hatman says Mountain Home High School and the National Guard share a common goal for students.
