An Ozark County teenager was reported missing on Thursday. According to the Ozark County Times, 16-year-old Savannah Leckie of Theodosia was entered into the National Crime Information Center’s Database.

Ozark County Sheriff Darrin Reed says Leckie’s mother, Rebecca Ruud, reports her daughter was home when she went to sleep late Wednesday evening, but when she woke up the next morning, Leckie was gone. Ruud and a neighbor searched the family’s farm and property off County Road 905, but they could not locate the girl.

Leckie is described as a five-foot two-inch white girl weighing approximately 115 to 120 pounds with long brown hair, and she goes by the nicknames of Mouse and Andy. Sheriff Reed says Leckie is home-schooled and doesn’t have any friends or family in the immediate area other than her parents. The sheriff adds Leckie is autistic but is very high-functioning.

Anyone with information on Leckie’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Ozark County Sheriff’s Department at 417-679-4633.
