Izard County Sheriff Jack Yancey Wednesday says at approximately 8:00 Tuesday morning the Izard County Sheriff’s Department was notified of a body near Dolph. After responding to the location a white male was found deceased. His identity is being held pending notification of next of kin.Yancey says during the course of the investigation, two people were taken into custody on an investigative hold. No formal charges have been filed.
Yancey says the investigation is ongoing and details will be released at a later date.
