A Mountain Home man, 44-year-old Chris Wayne Jackson, wanted on charges of violating an order of protection, was found hiding under a bed in the back room of a residence along 3rd Street Monday.
Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel says after officers located Jackson, he was taken into custody and searched. The search revealed a blue pouch in his pant pocket that contained approximately 1.5 grams of a crystalline substance. The substance was field tested with a positive result for the properties of methamphetamine.
Jackson was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), violation of an order of protection, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is incarcerated in the Baxter County Detention Facility with bond set at $5,000.
