An attempt by Mountain Home Police officers to locate a suspect in a terroristic threatening case at a local residence Tuesday was unsuccessful. However, officers left the residence with two other individuals in custody.

Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel says when officers arrived at the residence of 25-year-old Linda R. Jones of Mountain Home, they found her and 33-year-old Michael Hobbs of Mountain Home. Hobbs is currently on felony probation for previous theft and drug violations and
attempted to hide drugs and drug paraphernalia. In addition, drugs were purchased from Jones in June during an undercover drug investigation.

Officers observed what was believed to be drugs and drug paraphernalia inside Jones’ residence. They were later directed to additional drug and drug paraphernalia inside the home. Officers located marijuana, a substance believed to be methamphetamine, syringes, and glass smoking pipes.

Hobbs was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine)and possession of drug paraphernalia, both felony offenses. He was incarcerated in the Baxter County Detention Center with bond set at $3,000 and is being held for a probation violation.

Jones was charged with delivery of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), unlawful use of a communication device, distribution near certain facilities, an unclassified felony enhancement,
possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia, all felony offenses. She was incarcerated in the Baxter County Detention Center with bond set at $20,000.
