Mountain Home Police continue their investigation into a series of break-in incidents reported earlier this month.

Police Chief Carry Manuel says his department received reports on July 13 of break-ins at Goodwill Store and Donation Center on Highway 62 East, Twin Lakes Flea Market/D and T Bargains on Coley Drive and Mathis Dental on Green Valley Drive.

At Goodwill, entry was gained through the roof and into a safe where an undisclosed amount of cash was taken. The break-in was reported to have occurred during the previous evening.

At Twin Lakes Flea Market, officers responded to an alarm just after 5 on the morning of July 13.
Officers found an unlocked door and entry into the building appeared to have been made through an exterior wall. The suspect was gone on officers’ arrival. Property damage in the amount of $1,500 was reported. Items totaling approximately $1,430 were reported stolen. The break-in was reported to have occurred sometime during the previous two days.

At Mathis Dental, entry to the building was gained through a window. The report indicated someone cut power to the building and ransacked most of the rooms. Chief Manuel says there was no report of missing property. While on this call, officers checked the nearby Abraham Medical Clinic now owned by the Mountain Home School District and found a broken window. No loss of property has been reported. The break-in at Mathis Dental was reported to have occurred during the previous evening.
