Cardiologist joins BRMC medical staff

Dr. Patrick Tobbia has joined the medical staff at Baxter Regional Medical Center and is set to begin practice at Cardiovascular Associates of North Central Arkansas in Mountain Home on July 31. Dr. Tobbia is a board certified interventional cardiologist.

He was born in Ireland and has lived in many counties throughout his life. He attended Palacky University School of Medicine in Olomouc, Czech Republic, and completed an internal medicine residency at Cone Health, University of North Carolina in Greensboro. Dr. Tobbia also completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City and an interventional cardiology fellowship at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

Dr. Tobbia is certified in multiple specialties and has a special focus on cardiovascular and peripheral vascular diseases, imaging, and nuclear cardiology.

In addition to being board certified in internal medicine and cardiology, his credentials include board certifications in nuclear cardiology by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, cardiovascular CT by Certification Board Of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, and echocardiography/stress echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography.

He is also a registered physician for Vascular Interpretation by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Dr. Tobbia is joined here by his wife, Leslie.
