ASUMH Student Represents Arkansas in Cisco competitions

An Arkansas State University-Mountain Home student recently represented the state of Arkansas in the Cisco Network Academy NetRiders United States and Canada 2017 Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) and IT Essentials Skills Competitions. Cody Partee took part in the NetRiders competition providing students with hands-on practice and experience in a competitive environment, a chance to test their skills, showcase their knowledge, and compete with fellow students at an international level.

To qualify for the CCENT competition, Partee successfully passed a two-part comprehensive exam consisting of a theoretical exam and a network simulation exam focusing on the CCENT industry certification objectives. Partee advanced to the final round, and upon completion, he ranked in the top 25 percent in a field of competitors from the United States and Canada.

To qualify for the IT Essentials competition, Partee successfully passed a comprehensive exam consisting of theoretical questions focusing on the CompTIA A+ industry certification objectives. Partee also advanced the final round in this competition, and upon completion, he ranked in the top 25 percent in a field of competitors from the United States and Canada.

Partee is currently pursuing a Networking Specialist emphasis in the Information Systems Technology degree at ASU-Mountain Home. He also works as a business systems technician for Yelcot Communications.
