The Bull Shoals City Council will meet in special session Tuesday evening at 6:30.
Mayor David Nixon says the meeting has been called at the urging of the city council in order to appoint a new recorder/treasurer.
The vacancy was created last month with the resignation of Recorder/Treasurer Kim Williams.
Mayor Nixon said at the time of Williams’ resignation city officials were exploring options to fill the vacancy.
The meeting will be held at city hall.
