Marion County Library holding book sale

The Friends of the Marion County Library (FOMCL) will hold a summer book sale at the Library Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Mysteries, westerns, romance, bestsellers, classics, crafts, cookbooks, science fiction, and historical fiction are just some of the books that will be available.

Books are available for all levels, ages, and interests waiting for you to purchase. Hardbacks are priced at $1, paperbacks at 50 cents, and children’s books at 25 cents.

On Saturday the event will include a brown bag sale. For $2, patrons may fill a brown bag with as many books as they can fit into the bag.

The bake sale will offer a myriad of homemade goodies made by The Friends of the Marion County Library.

Proceeds from the sale will be used expand and complement existing programs and to fund the purchase of books for the upcoming FOMCL project which will encourage children to read 100 before they enter kindergarten beginning this fall.

Hours are 9-5 on Thursday and Friday and 10-2 on Saturday. The Marion County Library is located at 308 W Old Main in Yellville. Call (870) 449-6015 for information.
