It was a rough start to the Cal Ripken Major/70 World Series for the Mountain Home 12-year-old baseball team. The local All-Stars were edged out by Jeffersontown, Kentucky, 5-4 Thursday at the Ballparks of America in Branson. Mountain Home begins group play at 0-1.
