Cardinals get 1st win at Cincinnati

CINCINNATI (AP) Paul DeJong hit a two-run homer and Lance Lynn got past Joey Votto’s first-inning home run to win his fourth straight start as the St. Louis Cardinals eased past the Cincinnati Reds 4-1 Saturday night. Lynn retired 12 of the last 14 batters he faced.

The rubber game of the series will be Sunday as Adam Wainwright starts for the Cardinals, and the Reds will go with Homer Bailey. The first pitch is scheduled for 12:10. Sunday’s game can be heard on KTLO-AM. The Ameren Pregame Show begins at 11:15.
