A Major League scout and performance coach will be in the Twin Lakes Area to discuss the mental side of hitting with local youth. Steve Springer will present his Quality At-Bats program Tuesday evening at six p.m. at Dunbar Auditorium on the campus of Mountain Home High School.

Springer recorded over 1,600 base hits as a player on the professional level. He has served as a professional scout for the Toronto Blue Jays, and he works with big league players on their mental approach to hitting.

The cost to attend is $75 per child, and parents can join their kids at no additional charge. Checks should be made payable to “Mountain Home Youth Baseball.” Each participating child will receive Springer’s “Quality At-Bats” CD and DVD. To RSVP, contact Tom Jordan at 870-404-3652 or Brandy Jordan at 870-404-3694.
