NLR boys, Conway girls lead Ultimate Golf Tournament

After the first day of the Ultimate Golf Tournament at Big Creek Golf & Country Club in Mountain Home Monday, North Little Rock has the lead on the boy’s side while Conway is atop the girl’s standings.

The North Little Rock boys had a team total of 293 in the first round. They lead Jonesboro by ten strokes with Conway 14 shots back. Mountain Home shot a 438.

The boy’s individual leader is Jonesboro’s Ben Sherman who fired a 67. Mountain Home was led by Bradley Ludwig with a 79. Weston Hoover shot 108, Billy Knox had a 114 and Jackson Steiner shot 137.

On the girl’s side, Conway had a team total of 249, 19 strokes ahead of Greenwood. Mountain Home is fourth with a 288.

The girl’s individual leader is Casey Ott who shot 67. Mountain Home was led by Sydney Czanstkowski with an 86, Kenzie Collins had an 89, Cory Schauffler shot 113, Haley Czeschin had a 124 and Kennedy Wyatt shot 136.

The tournament wraps up Tuesday at Big Creek.
