Salem woman arrested on multiple drug charges

An execution of a search warrant led to the arrest of a Salem woman Thursday at her residence. According to Fulton County Sheriff Al Roork, 28-year-old Elizabeth Howell was charged with felony counts of maintaining a drug premises, possession of a controlled substance with the purpose to deliver (methamphetamine), use or possession to use drug paraphernalia and use or possession with the purpose to analyze methamphetamine and a misdemeanor count of use or possession with the purpose to use drug paraphernalia. She was released Friday after posting a $100,000 bond, and she will appear in Fulton County Circuit Court August 22nd. The Fulton County Sheriff’s Department was joined in the execution of the search warrant by the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force and the Salem Police Department.
