Babe Ruth World Series continues; Blue Storm meets Keene, NH

Mountain Home continues to host the Babe Ruth 13-Year-Old World Series Friday at McClain Park. The Blue Storm resumes division play as their second opponent will be Keene, New Hampshire.

Mountain Home comes into the game at 0-1 in the American Division. The Blue Storm suffered a one-run loss to Bismarck, North Dakota. Keene is 1-0 in division action. Despite a furious comeback by Jasper, Indiana, the New England regional champions held on in its opener for a one-run victory.

The first pitch on Pitts Field is scheduled for eight p.m. Friday’s game can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.

In the earlier games, Jasper and Atlantic Shore, New Jersey, get underway at noon, the 2:30 game pairs Tallahassee, Florida, with Belgrade, Montana, and Tri-County meets Tri-Valley, California, at 5:30.
