A Harrison man, 18-year-old Joshua Womack, was killed early Thursday morning as he was sitting on State Highway 43, just south of Harrison. According to the Arkansas State Police, a driver, whose name was not listed on the report, was traveling south on the highway when he struck Womack with the front of his vehicle. The report says the driver didn’t notice Womack sitting in the lane.
Conditions were cloudy and the road was dry at the time of the 2:00 a.m. accident.
