The public is being notified that a new sex offender, 22-year-old Kristopher Jordan Drzka of Mountain Home, has registered with the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office.

Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery says Drzka resides at 81 County Road 161 in Mountain Home.

Drzka was convicted of sexual assault in the second degree in Baxter County Circuit Court on July 27. The offense involved Drzka engaging in unwanted sexual contact during the summer of 2015 with a then 14-year-old female victim. Drzka is currently on probation with the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections. He has not been assigned a risk level by the Sex Offender Community Notification Assessment(SOCNA).

Montgomery says this person is not wanted by law enforcement at this time. This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is the sheriff’s belief that an informed public is a safer public. This information cannot be used to threaten, intimidate, or harass registered sex offenders. Citizen abuse will not be tolerated. Such abuse could potentially end law enforcement’s ability to do community notification.
