2 MH residents injured in 1-vehicle Ozark County accident

Two Mountain Home residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident in Ozark County early Saturday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 73-year-old Dempsey Lamb and his passenger, 73-year-old Barbara Lamb, suffered minor injuries from the accident three miles north of Gainesville.

The Lambs were traveling southbound on Missouri Highway 5 when the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a rock bluff and overturned. Dempsey and Barbara Lamb both sought their own medical treatment.

The vehicle was totaled in the 12:20 a.m. accident.
