One building permit issued in July for apartment complex

One building permit was issued by the City of Mountain Home during the month of July, according to Roberta Pack from the City of Mountain Home Building Inspection Department.The building permit was issued to Freedom Landing Phase II for an apartment complex, with a temporary address of 159 South Cardinal Drive, to construct ten buildings with a total of 37 housing units. The construction value of the permit is $600,000.

A new commercial permit was issued to Aspire Outdoors, located at 2492 Highway 62 East, in the amount of $420,000 with Lyle Crownover as the contractor.

One new commercial remodel permit was issued to Harbor Freight, located at 34 Staples Drive, in the amount of $220,000. Lakeview Construction Company is listed as the contractor.

A sign permit was also issued to Harbor Freight in the amount of $10,000.

The total value of permits issued in July totaled $1,251,500.

The cost of all permits issued for the month of July totaled $5,006, including the actual cost of the building permits at $4,129, $717 for electrical permits, and $160 for plumbing permits.

The city building and inspection department handled 67 inspections for the month.
