Hot Springs police arrest man in connection with July death

(AP) – Police say a suspect has been arrested in the death
last month of a man outside a nightclub in Hot Springs.Police Cpl. Kirk Zaner says 30-year-old Kirkland Eugene Litzsey of Malvern was arrested Tuesday in Little Rock on a first-degree murder charge in the death of 37-year-old Timothy Martin.

Zaner says officers investigating reports of shots fired found Martin dead inside a vehicle outside the club Boot Scooters at about 1:15 a.m. on July 16. A suspected cause of death has not been released.

Litzsey is being held in the Garland County jail and court and jail records do not list an attorney to speak on his behalf.

Zaner said in a news release that the investigation into the shooting
continues and more arrests are possible.
