While the high school football season is two weeks away from getting started in Arkansas, it begins this week in Missouri. West Plains hosts Waynesville, Hollister travels to Pleasant Hope, Branson entertains Neosho, Ava makes the trip to Marshfield, Willow Springs is home against Miller, Mountain View-Liberty heads to Cape Girardeau, Thayer travels to Hayti, and Mountain Grove hosts Aurora.
In volleyball, Yellville-Summit will hold its Green-White matches.
