In Cahoots Band featured at block party on the square

In Cahoots Band is this week’s headliner for the 13th series of Mountain Home’s Friday Night Block Party on the Square. The free music show is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 Friday evening. Holy Smokes will be serving barbecue. The Baxter Historical Society will be selling ice cream sundaes. Funnel cakes and lemonade will be available as well. This week’s sponsor is CC Changes and Pampered Chef with Sha.According to Event Coordinator Ron Shire, In Cahoots is a band that plays a variety of music which consists of Classic Country, Blues, and other Genre’s of music. The current band started 11 years ago. The band members are Bobby Younger on rhythm guitar and vocals, Donnie Lee on drums & vocals, Jerry Lee on fiddle and vocals, Jerry Scott on bass guitar and vocals and Jeff Henthorne playing lead guitar with vocals.

The Friday Night Block Party will go through the second Friday of September. The family friendly event will have vendors, food, crafts and prizes.
