Mountain Home High School was the site for the eighth-annual First Security Bank Bomberfest. The rain held off long enough for a winner to be announced in the KTLO BBQ Cookoff Challenge, and Brand Source of Mountain Home came away with the title as its ribs were prepared on its Big Green Egg grill. The Redneck Bombers finished second, and Holy Smokes BBQ and Anstaff Bank ended up tied for third place.
Coleman Family Dentistry won the People’s Choice Award for their barbecue pork quesadillas, and they also went home with the Spirit Team award. In addition, Lorie Strider won the Cookie/Bar contest, and James Douglas and Ross McDonald won the Obstacle Course Challenge.
