MH volleyball takes 2 of 3 from Jonesboro Westside

The Mountain Home volleyball teams won two of three matches at home Tuesday night against Jonesboro Westside.

The high school team is now 2-0 after a 3-0 win over Westside. The Lady Bombers won all three games 25-19.

Maly Tabor had eight kills, Charlie Pierce had six kills and served six aces and Anna Taylor and Leah Jackson each had 10 assists.

In the 9th grade match, Mountain Home defeated Jonesboro Westside 2-1, winning by scores of 25-22, 19-25 and 15-8. Kegan Trotter had six kills, Kennedi Palmer had three kills and four assists, Olivia Weber and Kiah Beard had four digs each and Reagan Buckley had three aces and three assists.

Mountain Home lost the shortened 8th grade match in one game 25-19. Riley Schmitz had three digs and Tatum Smith added two kills.

Mountain Home hosts Harrison Thursday night.
