MHHS volleyball loses tough match at Brookland

The Mountain Home High School volleyball team lost a tough match 3-2 at Brookland Tuesday night, the defending Class 4A state champs. The Lady Bearcats won by scores of 21-25, 33-31, 25-23, 19-25 and 15-9.

Maly Tabor had a big night with 15 kills and seven blocks, Charlie Pierce had 17 kills, Claudia Carter added 15 kills, Hope Menendez finished with 10 kills, Elaine Blackmon had 16 digs and Leah Jackson had 46 assists and served three aces.

Mountain Home is now 3-3 overall. They will host Morrilton Thursday.

The Mountain Home Junior High team lost to Brookland by scores of 25-8 and 25-8.
