MHHS golf teams pick up wins at home

The Mountain Home High School golf teams picked up a pair of wins at Big Creek Golf & Country Club Wednesday afternoon as they hosted Salem and Izard County.

In boy’s action, the Bombers shot 355, Izard County had a 392 and Salem finished with a 440. Mountain Home’s Gage McClain and Izard County’s Tyler Pemberton shared medalist honors by shooting 83.

Also for the Bombers, Bradley Ludwig shot 85, Chris Wehmeyer had an 89, Weston Hoover shot 98, Billy Knox fired a 103 and Luke Dibble had a 113.

The Cougars got a 93 from Matthew Workman and Zach Williams shot 100.

Salem was led by Garret Romine with a 99 and Chase Himschoot with a 109.

In girl’s action, Mountain Home won with a 266 while Salem shot 297. The medalist was Mountain Home’s Sydney Czanstkowski with an 81.

Also for the Lady Bombers, Kenzie Collins shot 82, Haley Czeshin had a 103, Kori Schauffler shot 111 and Kennedy Wyatt had a 122.

Izard County’s Mikayla Kish was third with an 84.

For Salem, Dagni Hall shot 92 and Katie Costner had a 103.
