MHHS volleyball finishes third at West Plains tournament

The Mountain Home High School volleyball team competed at the West Plains Showdown over the weekend where they finished third in both pool play and bracket play.

Mountain Home started bracket play be defeating Houston, Mo. 25-15 and 25-15. Maly Tabor had eight kills and five blocks, Charlie Pierce had eight kills, Claudia Carter finished with seven blocks and five kills, Leah Jackson had 20 assists and Elaine Blackmon had eight digs.

The Lady Bombers then lost to Poplar Bluff by scores of 22-25, 26-24 and 23-25. Pierce had 13 kills, Carter had 11 kills, Jackson finished with 32 assists and Hannah Pfiefer had eight digs.

The Lady Bombers are 5-4 overall and travel to Beebe Tuesdy.
