MHHS volleyball team gets district win over Greenbrier

The Mountain Home High School volleyball team was able to pick up another district victory as they defeated Greenbrier in straight sets with scores of 25-23, 25-21 and 25-20. Charlie Pierce and Anna Grace Foreman led the Lady Bombers with ten kills each, Claudia Carter adde eight kills, and Leah Jackson dished out 33 assists. Mountain Home improves to 7-4 on the season and 4-1 in the 6A/5A-2, and they’ll host Harrison on Monday.

Mountain Home’s three junior high teams went to Valley Springs on Thursday.
The freshmen team had the only loss as the match needed all three sets. The Junior Lady Bombers fell to the Junior Lady Tigers 23-25, 25-22 and 17-15. Mountain Home will compete in the Lady Cat Invitational on Saturday.
Mountain Home had a better result in the eighth grade match as they beat Valley Springs in straight sets with scores of 25-10 and 25-18. The Eighth Grade Lady Bombers will host West Plains on Monday.
Mountain Home also had a straight set victory in the seventh grade match. The Seventh Grade Lady Bombers defeated Valley Springs 25-21 and 25-22. Mountain Home will be in tournament play Saturday at Huntsville.
