Early and absentee voting numbers for the annual school board election, have been announced this evening as officials wait for the paper ballots to be counted.
For the Mountain Home school board Daniel Smakal had 61 votes, challenging incumbent Ben Strider, who had 87 votes for the position three seat.Lisa House was unopposed for Position one and retains the seat.
In the race for Cotter school board Brandon Harber had 3 votes, challenging incumbent Jimmy Morgan with 18 votes for the position three seat.
In Norfork Chad McGowan ran unopposed and retains his seat for Position four.
