Kristy Wood of Gassville pled guilty to drug-related charges filed against her and was sentenced to five years probation during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

The 38-year-old Wood was charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

She was arrested in early April after law enforcement officers went to a residence along West Main Street in Gassville looking for two males, both of whom had outstanding arrest warrants based on allegations of drug sales.

Wood was at the house according to the probable cause affidavit. During a search of the residence, drugs, smoking devices and syringes were found in the bedroom Wood shared with one of the males.

She was sentenced under provisions of Act 346, meaning that if he stays out of trouble during her probation period, she may apply to the court to have her record sealed.
