MHJH football teams split with West Plains

The Mountain Home Junior High football teams had mixed results at home Monday night against West Plains.

The Junior Bombers won the 9th grade game 27-6. Bryce McKay led the attack with 171 rushing yards and two touchdowns, Tatem Beshears and Brock Bogy each scored touchdowns, Logan Walker had a fumble recovery and Dalton Schaufler picked off a pass.
The Junior Bombers improve to 1-2 on the season.

West Plains topped Mountain Home in the 8th grade game 34-20. For Mountain Home Juan Hernandez had 64 rushing yards with a touchdown and two-point conversion, Gage Lindsey had 78 yards on the ground with a touchdown, Luke Proctor hooked up with Xzavier Anderson on a 22 yard touchdown pass and Keegan Rickman returned an interception 45 yards for a touchdown.
