Volleyball, golf, cross country and baseball make up the local Tuesday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School volleyball team returns to 6A/5A-2 district play as they go to Searcy. The junior varsity match begins at four p.m. followed by the varsity match.
Elsewhere, Cotter hosts Flippin, Yellville-Summit entertains Marshall, Izard County travels to Pocahontas, and Valley Springs makes the trip to Clinton.
It’s a return to Big Creek Golf and Country Club for Mountain Home as its varsity golf teams take on Har-Ber and Lake Hamilton, and the j.v. boys face Cotter. Tee time is scheduled for 1:00.
All of Mountain Home’s cross country squads will be across the state line as they take part in the Bakersfield Invitational. Action starts at 3:30 at Cloud Nine Ranch.
In fall baseball, Dora heads to Hartville.
In addition, the Mountain Home High School swim program will hold its preseason parent meeting Tuesday evening at 6:00 in the high school cafeteria.
