Arkansas women’s hoops TV schedule announced

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Southeastern Conference announced its 2018 women’s basketball television schedule on Wednesday afternoon and nine Arkansas league games will be televised nationally.

The Razorbacks host Kentucky Jan. 29, as part of the SEC’s Big Monday with the game airing on the SEC Network. Several other SEC games will also broadcast on the SEC Network including contests with defending National Champion South Carolina, NCAA runner-up Mississippi State and both the home and away contests with Missouri and Alabama. Arkansas’ game at Auburn and the home contest with Florida will also be carried on the SEC Network.

The remaining seven contests will air on the SEC Network Plus.

ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU will produce a combined 15 regular season conference contests as well as three non-conference games. The SEC Network will televise 50 conference games. The SEC Network will announce additional non-conference games at a later date.

The SEC Tournament will be played Wednesday, February 28 – Sunday, March 4, at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The SEC Network will televise the first three days of the SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament while the semifinals will air on ESPNU, and the championship game on ESPN2.

All of the games included in the ESPN package (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and SEC Network) will also be available through the ESPN app, which is accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.
