Lady Bombers win 6A East Golf Championship

The Mountain Home High School girl’s golf team has captured the 6A East Conference championship. Mountain Home is hosting the Class 6A State Girls Golf Tournament at Big Creek Golf & Country Club and the first round scores serve as the conference tournament. The Lady Bombers shot 278, to finish 12 strokes ahead of Searcy.

Mountain Home’s Keznie Collins is the 6A East individual champion after shooting an 82.  Sydney Czanstkowski shot 85 to join Collins on the All-Conference team.  Also for Mountain Home, Kori Schaufler had a 111, Kennedy Wyatt finished with a 126 and Haley Czeschin shot 137.

Greenwood leads the team standings for the State Tournament with a 267, Siloam Springs shot 271 and Mountain Home is third with their 278.

Greenwood’s Sydnie Gamble is the individual leader after shooting a one over par 73.
