Fulton County Sheriff Albert Roork has commended three citizens in the community of Heart for their help in apprehending a burglary suspect Friday. According to Roork, 54-year-old Troy Eugene Donley of Monticello was arrested for breaking and entering and theft of property after he was caught inside another person’s camper.A woman went to her camper to check on it and discovered Donley inside. He allegedly fled into the woods with some of her property.

Deputies arrived with the Calico Rock Prison tracking team and a public safety announcement was made to local radio stations in order to alert Heart’s citizens. Sheriff Roork says three individuals spotted Donley and held him until an officer arrived to take him into custody.

Roork says Donley has no ties to the Heart community, with no reason to be there, and he appreciates the help.
