A golfer from Izard County has won the Class 1A State Tournament individual championship. Mikayla Kish shot an 83 at New Haven Golf Course in Texarkana Tuesday to win the title. She now advances on to the overall state tournament which features the top three golfers from each classification.
The team title went to Lead Hill. The Lady Tigers shot 329 to finish 27 shots ahead of second place Greers Ferry Westside. Lead Hill was led by Kelis Huebner who finished third with a 96.
