A Mountain Home man, 24-year-old Ryan Lindsey, has been taken into custody one day after he fled from Baxter County Sheriff’s Office deputies. Lindsey is a parolee with both an outstanding parole violation warrant and an outstanding failure to appear warrant from Baxter County District Court.

Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery says authorities arrested two people Wednesday morning after serving a search warrant on County Road 27.

When the search warrant was served, Lindsey and 37-year-old Rebecca Conner, a probationer with an address in Midway, were found to be in the residence. Lindsey was immediately taken into custody, and a search of the premises was conducted.

During the search, approximately 2.5 grams of methamphetamine and various articles of drug paraphernalia were found. Lindsey also had approximately 4.5 grams of marijuana on his person.

Both Lindsey and Conner were charged with felony offenses of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, with purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition, Lindsey was charged with felony parole violation and two misdemeanor counts.

Bonds for both were set at $10,000. They are set to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court in October.

Agencies involved in serving the search warrant and in the arrests in addition to the sheriff’s office were the 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force, Arkansas Community Corrections, and Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division.

Records indicate Lindsey has been booked into the Baxter County Jail a total of 22 times since 2010 and was paroled from prison earlier this year. Records indicate Conner has been booked into the Baxter County Jail a total of 23 times since 2007 and has been on felony probation since May 2016.

Prescription medication found in the residence belonging to another person may have been stolen from the other person’s residence. An investigation continues.
