During the course of the investigation, Morrell determined Hannaford was under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested for DWI-drugs and other traffic offenses and was taken to the Detention Center. Before entering he was asked if he had any illegal substances on him, which he denied. Once Hannaford was thoroughly searched, he was found to be in possession of approximately 1.2 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Hannaford was booked on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and furnishing, possessing, or using prohibited articles. He also faces several other misdemeanor charges, is being held on a $9,150 bond and is scheduled to appear in court.
The second incident involved a complaint Deputy Craig Gates took from Caseys Convenience Store, on Highway 5 North in Mountain Home, at approximately 4:15 Tuesday morning. Another man was apparently inside a vehicle on the parking lot, passed out, and couldnt be awakened. The man had allegedly been there since 1:00 a.m.
After Gates made contact with Mooney he was searched, and the deputy found approximately .10 of a gram of methamphetamine. He was taken to the Detention Center and booked on a charge of felony possession of controlled substance.
Mooney was released from custody after posting a $3,000 bond and will appear in court to answer to the charges.
