Baxter County man arrested for 13th time




A Baxter County man, 25-year-old Daniel Lynn Adams of rural Mountain Home, was booked into the Baxter County Jail Wednesday evening after turning himself in on an outstanding warrant for delivery of methamphetamine. Adams has 12 prior bookings in the county jail, served nine months at the Department of Community Correction’s Center and is currently on probation.Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery says investigators from his department obtained a warrant after an informant had purchased approximately 1.1 grams of methamphetamine from Adams and a co-defendant, Courtney Faith Ragland, in March. Ragland was arrested on August 27, but Adams had remained at large.

The sale of methamphetamine was monitored and recorded by investigators and took place at a carwash in Mountain Home. A cellular telephone was used to facilitate the transaction.

Adams was charged with felony counts of delivery of methamphetamine, unlawful use of a communications device and as a habitual offender. He also faces a penalty enhancement failure to appear warrant probation violation.

He is being held on bond of $8,835 on these charges and a no bond hold on his probation violation, pending his appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court later this month.
