Commercial remodel permit issued for McDonalds in September

There were no building permits issued by the City of Mountain Home during the month of September, however a commercial remodel permit was issued to McDonalds at 1019 Highway 62 East, according to Roberta Pack from the City of Mountain Home Building Inspection Department.The remodel permit for McDonalds was issued for two new restrooms at a cost of $601.25 to LR Mourning. The construction value of the permit is $175,000.

Two sign permits were issued, one to Buddy’s Home Furnishing with a construction value of $1,900 and the other to Walmart in the amount of $2,500.

Two other permits were issued for detached storage sheds with a permit cost of $20 and a construction value of $2,800.

The total value of permits issued in September totaled $204,506.

The cost of permits issued for the month of September totaled $2,743, including the actual cost of the building permits at $887, $125 for mechanical permits, $1,541 for plumbing permits and $190 for mowing fees.

The city building and inspection department handled 81 inspections for the month.
