The Southern Council of the Federation of Fly Fishing is hosting an eight-state annual fly fishing fair Friday and Saturday at The Sheid on the campus of Arkansas State University- Mountain Home.
The event includes fly tying demonstrations, contests, goodies from local outfitters, and provides an opportunity to talk fishing, make friends, and become involved and support the Friends of the Rivers.
Friends of the North Fork and White Rivers, Inc. is an Arkansas non-profit 501(c)(3)founded in 2002. Friends is dedicated to clean, healthy water in these rivers, and to the protection of the middle section of the White River for future generations.
