LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) Police say a man is dead and two officers were injured in a shooting and vehicle crash in Little Rock.
Police Chief Kenton Buckner says it’s not clear whether the man was fatally shot or if he died as a result of crashing his vehicle into a brick wall early Saturday.
No names have been released.
Buckner says officers were called shortly after 4 a.m. to a disturbance in the parking lot of an office building where the man drove at and struck two officers with his vehicle.
Buckner says police then opened fire and the man crashed into the wall. He says the officers are hospitalized with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening.
