High school softball makes up the local Wednesday schedule as two area schools begin state tournament play.
Dora will be on the road for its first game of the Class 1 State Tournament. The District 2 champion Lady Falcons’ sectional opponent will be Chaffee. The first pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m.
Ava will have home field advantage for the sectional round of the Class 2 State Tournament. The Lady Bears go into the the tournament as District 1 champs, and their opening opponent will be Doniphan. Action starts at 5:00.
