The Mountain Home 9th grade football team picked up a nice win on the road Thursday night. The Junior Bombers defeated El Dorado 34-14 in a game played at Little Rock Christian High School.
Bryce McKay led the attack with 155 yards on the ground, 58 passing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Brock Bogy had 106 rushing yards and a touchdown and Lawson Stockton had a touchdown run. Defensively, McKay picked off two passes and Logan Walker had an interception.
The Junior Bombers improve to 5-2 and will play at Yellville-Summit next Thursday.
In the 8th grade game, El Dorado defeated Mountain Home 40-12. Blake Tillis and Gage Lindsey each had touchdown runs.
The 8th grade Bombers travel to Melbourne next Thursday.
