MH volleyball keeps hot streak going against Searcy

The Mountain Home High School volleyball team continued their hot streak by beating Searcy 3-0 for their seventh straight win. The Lady Bombers won by scores of 25-6, 25-13 and 25-14.

Claudia Carter had 12 kills, Charlie Pierce had 11 kills, Leah Jackson finished with 34 assists and Elaine Blackmon served five aces.

The Lady Bombers improve to 17-7 overall and will begin post-season play at home Saturday afternoon at 2:00 when they host Little Rock Hall for the first round of the 6A-East District Tournament. Mountain Home is the number two seed.

In the J.V. match, Mountain Home defeated Searcy 25-12 and 25-12.

Alexa Crim had nine kills and Anna Taylor collected 14 assists.
