The Mountain Home High School band received high marks once again with a superior first division rating at the state marching contest held at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock Monday and Tuesday. MHHS Band Director Tom Chentnik says only 20 bands, out of 60 competing, received the distinction.

Chentnik says, after the completion of another successful marching season, he is proud of the students and their hard work.
Next up for the band is a Veteran’s Day performance at the high school, the upcoming Christmas parade and the Christmas concert.
The Christmas concert will be held Monday, December 11th.
Band students will begin practicing for all-region jazz tryouts and all-region concert band tryouts.
